Get your brains out of the 'newest release' box and start thinking about the versions that are actually getting the most use. When will you start catering to the users you HAVE, rather than the ones you WANT? The ones you don't have yet?ĭo you expect to attract new users by NOT supporting your older releases? Then having to generate the CAXA data which will give you a dumb DWG and then converting it to an ACADE symbol or footprintĪnd then correcting ant parts data errors Its good for the soul to use their out of date and incorrect data then having to log onto the siemens portal finding the correct part Now in a world where collaboration is the norm rather than do it the Autodesk wayĪutodesk would have talked to Siemens and got ACADE parts data and blocks properly integrated into their portal Well that’s not strictly true there a nice promotional video with a couple of people on a bike with flashy titles but no content When ACADE is hopelessly far behind with Industry 4.0 integration (i.e.
